BEHIND OUR NAME
The company name, Haivision (pronounced "hi-vision"), was inspired by the word “hai” which means “shark” in several languages. Over the years, the shark has become our unofficial mascot and we affectionately refer to our employees as “Sharks.” They have what it takes to create great video technology; agility, power, speed, and persistence.
